King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, has launched the 2026 Summer Training Program, which includes 30 training programs and initiatives distributed across five main tracks, in cooperation with a number of local and international entities.

The Dean of Student Affairs at the university, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, explained that the program has witnessed, since the start of registration, an influx of over 4,000 male and female applicants, reflecting the students' awareness of the importance of investing the summer break in developing skills and gaining professional experience.

Five Diverse Training Tracks

He pointed out that the program includes five main tracks: professional certifications, health programs, international programs, leadership programs and labor market skills, in addition to specialized programs, providing students with training options that align with their academic majors and professional interests.

He added that the duration of the programs ranges from one to two weeks, while international programs extend from two weeks to one month, and include fields such as artificial intelligence, data analysis and business intelligence, digital marketing, project management, digital transformation, engineering, entrepreneurship, law, media and communication, English language, tourism and hospitality, in addition to training camps and student exchange programs.

In the same context, the Dean of Student Affairs affirmed that the diversity of the programs reflects their connection to priority sectors and national development needs, with a focus on developing national competencies and qualifying students for the labor market.
