Science and Technology / King Khalid University Launches Summer Training Program with 30 Training Programs

Abha, Muharram 29, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 14, 2026, SPA -- King Khalid University, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, launched the Summer Training Program 2026, which includes 30 training programs and initiatives distributed across five main tracks implemented in cooperation with a number of local and international entities. The university's Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Saad bin Saeed Al-Qahtani, explained that the program has seen registration exceeding four thousand applicants since registration opened, an indicator reflecting the university students' awareness of the importance of investing the summer vacation in developing their skills and gaining professional experience. He pointed out that the program includes five main tracks: professional certificates, health programs, international programs, leadership and labor market skills programs, as well as specialized programs, providing students with diverse training options that align with their academic majors and professional interests. He added that the duration of the programs ranges from one to two weeks, while international programs extend from two weeks to one month. The programs vary across fields such as artificial intelligence, data analysis and business intelligence, digital marketing, project management, digital transformation, health programs, engineering, entrepreneurship, law, media and communication, English language, tourism and hospitality, in addition to training camps, international programs, and student exchange programs, reflecting the breadth of training areas and their connection to priority sectors and national development needs. // End // 20:06 T M 0175
