Political analyst Hanna Saleh said that the Kingdom played a pivotal role in reaching the framework agreement and supporting Lebanon's stability historically.

In an interview on Al Arabiya FM, Saleh added that this role included cementing the isolation of the Lebanese track from Iran, and that the Kingdom has a historical role in supporting Lebanon's stability.

He continued that the Kingdom has always provided a model in dealing with the Lebanese state and not allowing the selection of groups to undermine state institutions, as Saudi Arabia wants an Arab environment supportive of security, stopping the expansion of the Iranian role, and containing the occupation.

Saleh concluded that Saudi Arabia has never stopped extending a helping hand to Lebanon as long as Beirut has resolved to rid itself of illegal weapons and bid farewell to the era of turning Lebanon into a platform for attacking Arab countries through drug smuggling and aggressive acts.
