The 2026 Voluntary National Review of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, submitted to the United Nations to follow up on the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, highlighted the prominent role played by the Princess Al-Anoud Charitable Foundation in empowering Saudi society, as one of the non-profit entities contributing to supporting community development and enhancing quality of life.

The report stated that the foundation provides its services through six specialized centers targeting persons with disabilities, the elderly, women and girls, youth, refugees and rural residents, and families and children, reflecting a comprehensive approach to reaching all segments of society in various regions of the Kingdom.

It noted that the foundation collaborated with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to implement training programs tailored for refugees residing in the Kingdom, affirming its commitment to serving all beneficiaries without discrimination, along with applying the “voluntary branches” model that expands its services to peripheral and remote areas in partnership with local entities.

The report explained that the foundation manages an integrated system that includes the Warif Center for Youth Development, a Training Center for International Training, the Shadn Center for Child and Family Development, the Rami Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, the “Nafe” Center for Volunteering, in addition to the “Sakina” Center specialized in preventing addiction of both digital and substance abuse types. It also launched the European-Arab Fellowship Program for Social Economy to qualify leaders of the non-profit sector.

In the field of public health, the report indicated that the foundation launched the first specialized diploma in drug prevention in the Kingdom under the title “Diploma in Protection and Advanced Strategies for Preventing Psychoactive Substance Abuse,” in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of National Guard.

The report clarified that the foundation set within its priorities for the period 2026-2030 the goal of “Sustainable Cities and Communities” among the Sustainable Development Goals, benefiting from its extensive network of centers and voluntary branches spread across various regions of the Kingdom, along with including the goal of “Zero Hunger” in its future plans to expand food security and community development initiatives.

The inclusion of the Princess Al-Anoud Foundation in the Kingdom's Voluntary National Review reflects recognition of the growing role played by non-profit sector institutions in supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals at both the national and international levels.
