The Education and Training Evaluation Commission has set the registration and exam dates for the educational professional license for 2026, with teacher registration beginning on the 20th of the upcoming Safar, as part of plans to measure educational and specialized standards for applicants.

The Commission clarified that male registration for both the general and specialized exams will start on 20 Safar 1448 AH. It added that female registration will begin later on the 27th of the same Hijri month.

The Commission also revealed the scheduling of the professional license exams in their specialized track from 4 to 6 Jumada al-Awwal 1448 AH, noting that the general educational exam will be held from 25 to 27 of the same Hijri month.

This exam represents a standardized evaluation tool to measure the extent to which applicants meet the required professional standards. This regulatory step aims to ensure the efficiency of educational staff and improve the quality of educational outcomes. The Commission pointed out that the exam is divided into two main parts: the first is common to all teachers to measure the general educational aspect. This section covers three main areas: values and responsibilities, knowledge, and professional practice. The second part focuses on the specialized exam that addresses concepts and scientific structure of each specialty. It noted that the license exams for educational positions include 36 different specialties with varying specific fields.
