General / Prince Rakan bin Salman Receives Winners of Riyadh Governor's Quran Memorization Competition

Ad-Diriyah, Safar 2, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 16, 2026, SPA - His Royal Highness Prince Rakan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Ad-Diriyah, today received at his office the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Quran Memorization Association in Ad-Diriyah, Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nasser, and the students who won the competition of His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region for Quran Memorization, Recitation and Interpretation for the year 1447 AH. His Highness congratulated President Al-Nasser and the winning students for obtaining second place in the competition, praising the efforts of the Quran Memorization Association in Ad-Diriyah in teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran, and the programs and initiatives it offers that contribute to raising generations on the Book of Allah Almighty. Prince Rakan bin Salman noted the direct care and attention given to teaching and memorizing the Holy Quran by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may Allah preserve them - for the care of the Holy Book and its people.
