The Real Estate Register today announced the start of accepting applications for the first in-kind registration of 1,491 real estate plots in the regions of Riyadh, Makkah, and Tabuk, calling on property owners to complete registration procedures before the end of Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The Real Estate Register explained that the Riyadh region includes real estate plots in Afif Governorate, as well as neighborhoods in Rumah Governorate: Al Rabiyah District, part of an open area district under Al Rawdah Municipality, and part of an open area district under Al Sharq Municipality.

The Real Estate Register pointed out that registration in the Makkah region includes neighborhoods in Taif Governorate: part of Umm Al Rasf District, part of Al Qarahin District, and part of Umm Al Arad District, in addition to a number of real estate plots in the Tabuk region in Umluj Governorate.

Registration period and verification procedures

The Register added that property owners can verify whether their properties are included in the announced areas through the Real Estate Register platform, urging them to use the electronic platform (www.rer.sa) or the Real Estate Register application, and to contact the customer service center (199002) for inquiries about registration procedures.

In the same context, the Real Estate Register stressed the importance of registering within the specified period to benefit from its services, easily execute real estate transactions, and avoid the penalties stipulated in the Real Estate In-Kind Registration System.

Enhancing transparency and reliability

It is noteworthy that the Real Estate Register continues its work in registering properties within the beneficiary areas, aiming to increase reliability and transparency in the real estate sector by building a comprehensive and unified register of real estate information in the Kingdom.

The Register stated that it will issue a 'Property Number' and a property registration deed for each registered real estate unit, including the precise geographic location, owner data, descriptions, status, and all real estate transactions, thereby enhancing the documentation of ownership and real estate rights.

Real estate areas are determined according to approved criteria, with the General Authority for Real Estate overseeing the in-kind registration of real estate, while the National Company for Real Estate In-Kind Registration Services (Real Estate Register) carries out the establishment and management of the Real Estate Register using modern technologies to enhance transparency and trust in the sector.
