The President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, visited the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, accompanied by vice presidents and CEOs of companies operating in the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom.

Al-Duailej and his accompanying delegation toured the exhibition currently held at Farnborough Airport in the United Kingdom, which is one of the largest global gatherings for the aviation and aerospace industry.

The tour included visits to the pavilions and booths of major leading global companies and manufacturers in the sector, and reviewing the latest modern technologies, innovations, and smart solutions in civil aviation.

During his tour, the President reviewed a set of advanced projects and programs related to the future of aviation, foremost among them Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions, environmentally friendly and sustainability-supporting technologies, in addition to digital innovations, autonomous aviation systems, and space.

On the sidelines of the participation, His Excellency held a series of meetings and bilateral talks with leaders and heads of major government and private companies participating in the exhibition, to discuss prospects for joint cooperation, exchange expertise, and explore opportunities for strategic partnerships in various fields of aviation and air transport.

His Excellency discussed with company representatives ways of knowledge exchange and localization of modern technologies, showcasing the major investment opportunities offered by the civil aviation sector in the Kingdom under the targets of the aviation program, aimed at enabling growth and innovation and formulating new, sustainable standards for safety and environmental protection.
