* (As part of its review of the general performance indicators for a number of strategic and vital sectors, it praised the continued achievement of the nonprofit sector's development goals at an accelerating pace, recording growth in the contribution of nonprofit organizations to the GDP, with the number of nonprofit organizations rising to more than 7,200 by the end of 2025, and the number of volunteers reaching 1.7 million). This was affirmed by the Cabinet last Tuesday, which was chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect him.
***** * Here, all affiliates of the nonprofit sector have the right to raise their heads with pride and honor for this praise from the Cabinet, which boosts confidence in their sector, and for the unlimited support it receives from our wise leadership, and the affirmation of its great and growing role in serving society across various tracks, and its effective contribution to quality of life and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
***** * Also, what the sector has achieved in terms of accomplishments and numbers in the number of its organizations; the diversity of fields, programs, and initiatives in which it operates; and the very significant increase in the number of volunteers, is a testament to the sincere and institutional work with which the sector is managed, and to its tangible developmental impact, and above all, further affirmation of the authenticity of Saudi society, its love for goodness and giving, and the deep-rooted culture of social responsibility in its veins across all segments. ***** * Finally, thank you and forever to the nonprofit sector and those in charge of it; we greatly appreciate your sincerity, and we always value your great and noble contributions. What I hope from you is to get closer to the people, and to pay greater and more comprehensive attention to media with all its tools; charitable work organizations are the most in need of it to convey facts and achievements, and to help reach supporters and donors. What I look forward to is that the National Center for Nonprofit Sector Support produce films and materials that capture some of the sector's efforts in serving the nation and society. And peace be upon you.
