Bina Association Graduates 28 Volunteers in Event Management in Eastern Province

The Bina Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province concluded the Event and Festival Management program, the first program of the 'Ataa' volunteer camp under the Events track, with the participation of 28 beneficiaries in a 30-hour training that included theoretical workshops and practical applications, and ended with organizing the closing ceremony, aiming to prepare qualified volunteers in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The Bina Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province concluded the Event and Festival Management program, the first program of the 'Ataa' volunteer camp under the Events track, with the participation of 28 beneficiaries, after a 30-hour training program that included four training workshops and three practical applications, and culminated in the preparation and organization of the camp's closing ceremony hosted by the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Science and Technology Center (Saittec).

The participants received specialized training in event planning and organization, protocol and hospitality, guest management, coordination and teamwork, before moving to field application, where they prepared and organized the closing ceremony of the 'Ataa' volunteer camp, and managed its various organizational and field aspects in a practical experience that enhanced their readiness and enabled them to apply the knowledge and skills they acquired.

The CEO of Bina Association, Dr. Abdullah bin Rashid Al-Khalidi, affirmed that volunteering represents one of the strategic paths that the association works to develop by preparing and qualifying its beneficiaries for active participation in community service, which contributes to raising the quality of volunteer work and maximizing its impact, expressing his thanks to Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University represented by the House of Expertise for Public Relations and Advertising, to Saittec Center, and to everyone who contributed to the success of the program.

For his part, the Head of the House of Expertise for Public Relations and Advertising at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Muhawis, explained that the program combined theoretical and practical aspects, and contributed to developing the participants' skills in organizing events and managing occasions, emphasizing the importance of field training in preparing volunteer competencies.

The program falls within the efforts of Bina Association to build an institutional volunteer system concerned with preparing and qualifying its beneficiaries to participate in community initiatives and events, in cooperation with the House of Expertise for Public Relations and Advertising at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, with the aim of preparing volunteers who possess knowledge and skill, and contribute effectively to community service, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
