Eastern Province Governor Sponsors Graduation of 578 Orphans and Widows from Binaa Association Programs

Eastern Province Governor Prince Saud bin Naif sponsored the 'Farhat Kharīj' ceremony to graduate 578 orphans and widows benefiting from Binaa Association programs, which included secondary, university, diploma levels, the Mothers' Empowerment Program, and the 'Tadhmeen' rehabilitation and employment program, affirming the leadership's support for empowering orphans and aligning their training with Saudi Vision 2030.

Eastern Province Governor Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz sponsored, at the Emirate Diwan on Tuesday, the graduation ceremony for 578 male and female students from orphans and widows benefiting from the programs of the Binaa Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, as part of the annual 'Farhat Kharīj' event.

His Highness emphasized that the leadership's attention to orphans embodies the Kingdom's approach to empowering them, enhancing their quality of life, and building their future, noting the importance of continuing to support educational and training initiatives that contribute to developing their capabilities and aligning with the goals of Vision 2030, congratulating the graduates and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

In his speech, the CEO of Binaa Association, Dr. Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalidi, thanked His Highness for his patronage and continuous support, revealing details of this year's cohort distributed as follows: 336 male and female graduates from secondary school, 139 from university, 54 mothers benefiting from the 'Orphans' Mothers Empowerment' program in its ninth edition in partnership with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in addition to 20 beneficiaries who joined the labor market through the 'Tadhmeen' rehabilitation and employment program.

Al Khalidi explained that the university-level graduates were distributed between 84 male and female graduates with diplomas and 53 with bachelor's degrees, while 23 achieved honors and academic excellence in fields of technology, cybersecurity, engineering, and medical sciences, in line with labor market needs and reflecting the association's direction toward preparing qualified national competencies.

He pointed out that the 'Orphans' Mothers Empowerment' program extends over 5 months, during which each participant receives 250 training hours in social, educational, economic, and professional fields, aimed at empowering them to raise their children and monitor their academic progress, stressing that family empowerment is the cornerstone for empowering children.

On behalf of their peers, student Sultan Ammari and student Rayouf Al-Harbi delivered a speech expressing their pride in the knowledge and learning they acquired, affirming their determination to continue the journey of giving and utilize their training to serve the nation and achieve Vision 2030.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness congratulated the male and female students who received educational scholarships in specialized fields at the association's expense, and honored the success partners and supporters of educational and training programs, as well as academic institutions.
