The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded today the awareness exhibition on marine safety, correct practices, and reducing drowning risks, at Al Nakheel Mall in Riyadh.

The exhibition reviewed the Border Guard's instructions and regulations for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas, safety guidelines to follow when visiting the sea, and the Border Guard's efforts in search and rescue, as well as ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing.

The General Directorate of Border Guard called on beach and sea visitors to adhere to the instructions and guidelines, and to call numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, to request assistance in emergencies.
