His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect him - chaired the session held by the Cabinet today in Jeddah. During the session, the Cabinet reviewed the overall work of the state in recent days, especially concerning the strengthening of bilateral relations with brotherly and friendly countries at various levels, and intensifying aspects of joint coordination; in a way that serves international peace and security, contributes to addressing global issues and challenges, and opens the door for further development and prosperity.

Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari explained in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session that the Cabinet commended the active participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation in the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week, which included an emphasis on commitment to close cooperation with international organizations and their relevant bodies to combat this scourge, eradicate it at its roots, dry up its funding sources, and support efforts to confront terrorist threats; to build a safe and stable future. The Cabinet welcomed the unanimous adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council at its (62nd) session of a resolution presented by the Kingdom on 'Empowering Women in the Field of Cybersecurity'; based on the global initiative launched by His Highness the Crown Prince in this regard, enhancing its goals at the international level, and embodying its vision with tangible practical steps.

The Cabinet affirmed that the Kingdom's achievement of first place globally in the ICT Development Index 2026 issued by the International Telecommunication Union reflects the continuous development in infrastructure and the regulatory environment supporting the enhancement of international leadership in the future of technology and artificial intelligence, amid the accelerating growth of the Saudi digital economy, which has established its position as the largest market in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The Council considered the Kingdom's election as Chair of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization for the second consecutive time as an extension of its pioneering role in supporting this sector at the regional and international levels, and its effective contributions and initiatives in developing the air transport industry.

His Excellency indicated that the Council appreciated the World Bank's praise of the Kingdom's experimental environment for artificial intelligence in education as a leading model and international reference for developing more quality and sustainable digital education, employing modern technologies, and enabling educational institutions and innovators to find practical solutions in this field.

On the domestic front, the Cabinet reviewed the general performance indicators of a number of strategic and vital sectors, praising in this context the continued achievement of the non-profit sector's developmental targets at an accelerated pace, recording growth in the contribution of non-profit organizations to the GDP, with the number of non-profit organizations rising to more than (7,200) by the end of 2025, and the number of volunteers reaching (1.7) million volunteers.

The Council reviewed the topics on its agenda, including subjects that the Shura Council participated in studying. It also reviewed the conclusions of the Council of Political and Security Affairs, the Council of Economic and Development Affairs, the General Committee of the Cabinet, and the Bureau of Experts at the Cabinet regarding them. The Council issued the following decisions:

First: Approval of an agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the governments of Hungary, the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republic of Poland on visa waiver for holders of diplomatic, service, and special passports. Second: Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of the Republic of Singapore on cooperation in the field of social development. Third: Authorizing the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission - or his delegate - to negotiate with the Canadian side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for the exchange of information in the fields of nuclear and radiological regulation, and to sign it. Fourth: Authorizing the Minister of Culture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Museums Authority - or his delegate - to negotiate with the Omani side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of museums between the Museums Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Museum in the Sultanate of Oman, and to sign it. Fifth: Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Turkey. Sixth: Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of the future of modern transportation methods between the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility in the Kingdom of Spain. Seventh: Authorizing the President of the General Court of Audit - or his delegate - to negotiate with the Mauritanian side regarding a draft memorandum of understanding between the General Court of Audit in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Court of Accounts in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for cooperation in the field of accounting, oversight and professional work, and to sign it. Eighth: Building a (Unified National Visa Platform) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to be the approved national platform. Ninth: Appointing Engineer Hatem bin Abdulrazzaq Al-Duraian, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdulkarim Al-Turki, Mr. Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Mr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Mulhim, and Mr. Mohammed bin Khaled Al-Khudhair as members of the Board of Directors of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. Tenth: Approval of the final accounts of the Real Estate Development Fund, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, and the universities of (Umm Al-Qura, Jeddah, Hail, King Abdulaziz, and Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University) for previous fiscal years. Eleventh: Issuing the necessary directives regarding a number of topics on the Cabinet's agenda, including annual reports of the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate, the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority, and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences. Twelfth: Approval of the promotion of Prince Bandar bin Saud bin Mohammed bin Muqrin Al Saud to the position of (Undersecretary) at level (15) in the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, and the promotion of Dr. Fahd bin Mubarak Al-Qahtani to the position of (Geological Advisor) at level (14) in the Ministry of Energy.
