The Special Forces for Environmental Security announced the arrest of a citizen for violating the environmental system after entering protected meadows and rangelands with his vehicle inside the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve, confirming that legal procedures have been taken against him.

The forces explained that entering vehicles and cars into protected meadows and rangelands is a violation that incurs a fine of up to 2,000 riyals, according to the environmental system.

The Special Forces for Environmental Security called on reporting any practices that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling 911 in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and numbers 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions.

It confirmed that all reports are treated with complete confidentiality, with no responsibility on the reporter.
