The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha, held a meeting with Saudi male and female students on scholarships in the Republic of Korea, as part of his keenness to communicate with national talents and motivate them to contribute to building the future of the digital economy and advanced technologies.

Al-Sawaha explained during the meeting that investing in national talents is a fundamental pillar to enhance the Kingdom's global competitiveness, stressing the importance of the role of scholarship students in transferring knowledge, localizing advanced technologies, and developing national capabilities in the fields of artificial intelligence and future technologies, in line with the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The meeting witnessed an open dialogue between the minister and the students, during which they reviewed their academic aspirations and scientific paths. They also discussed promising opportunities to benefit from international expertise and experiences and enhance their contributions to the system of technical innovation and technical entrepreneurship in the Kingdom.
