The Eastern Region Municipality, represented by the Municipality of Al-Nu‘ayriyah Governorate, has completed maintenance, rehabilitation, and paving works for several entrances and squares in the governorate, as part of efforts to enhance urban development, improve infrastructure efficiency, and raise the level of municipal services, contributing to improving quality of life and enhancing traffic flow.

The Director General of the General Department of Media and Official Spokesperson for the Eastern Region Municipality, Faisal bin Saeed Al-Zahrani, explained that the implemented works included the rehabilitation of several vital sites, including the eastern entrance to the governorate on the (Dammam - Hafar Al-Batin) road, with a length of 3,500 linear meters, as part of the municipality's programs aimed at developing the road network and raising traffic safety levels.

He affirmed that these works come as an extension of the development and construction projects implemented by the municipality to develop main roads and streets and improve their efficiency in line with the urban growth and population increase witnessed by the governorate, and to enhance the quality of services provided to residents and visitors.

Al-Zahrani pointed out that the municipality continues to implement maintenance and rehabilitation works during the upcoming period for several entrances, squares, and streets in the governorate, as part of its plans aimed at improving the urban landscape, developing the road sector, supporting quality of life goals, and raising traffic safety levels. These efforts are part of ongoing work to improve the urban environment, enhance the efficiency of municipal assets, and provide advanced infrastructure that contributes to achieving sustainable development in the governorate.
