Eastern Province Municipality begins maintenance of King Fahd Road in Dammam and calls for following traffic diversions
The Eastern Province Municipality announced the start of maintenance and improvement works on King Fahd Road in the city of Dammam, on the direction extending from the Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Road bridge to the Gulf Cooperation Council Road (Abu Hadriyah) bridge, as part of its programs aimed at developing infrastructure, improving the quality of the road network, and enhancing traffic safety.
The municipality explained that these works come within the framework of the periodic plan to improve the efficiency of roads and maintain their operational readiness, which contributes to improving the level of service and enhancing traffic flow on one of the main axes in the city of Dammam.
The municipality affirmed its continued implementation of road maintenance and rehabilitation projects and programs according to its operational plans, which enhances the efficiency of the road network, raises the quality of municipal services, and achieves the goals of urban development and quality of life.
The Eastern Province Municipality called on vehicle drivers to adhere to temporary traffic diversions, field instructions and guidelines, and to benefit from alternative roads, especially during peak hours, to ensure the safety of road users until the maintenance works are completed.
