Abu Dhabi, April 2 /WAM/ The National Health Insurance Company 'Daman', a subsidiary of PureHealth Group, announced that the renewal service for basic health insurance policies for domestic workers issued by it has become available via the 'Tamm' platform - the unified digital platform for Abu Dhabi government services, in addition to being available at its various centers and via its website, under the supervision of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi.

This measure comes within the framework of the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi's efforts to improve and simplify procedures for accessing healthcare services, particularly the renewal of basic health insurance policies, in line with the digital transformation efforts in the emirate and contributing to providing a distinguished experience for customers.

Daman clarified that the service includes renewing the basic insurance policy for domestic workers and paying late renewal penalties if any, and that completing the service procedures and paying fees takes only a few minutes and does not require submitting any official documents due to linking the customer with the digital identity. It pointed out that the insurance policy is activated within 15 minutes after successfully confirming payment of the prescribed fees; the company sends an email to the customer to inform them of the activation of the insurance policy for their sponsored worker.

It is worth noting that the Abu Dhabi Basic Health Insurance Program is government-supported and covers domestic workers sponsored by citizens or residents, as well as employees earning AED 5,000 or less without housing insurance provided by the sponsor, or AED 4,000 or less if housing insurance is provided by the sponsor.
