Deputy Governor of Eastern Province celebrates King Faisal University's achievements

Prince Saud bin Bandar reviews university performance indicators

His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, reviewed the achievements of King Faisal University at his office in the Emirate headquarters yesterday. This came during his reception of the university president, Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abu Zenada, accompanied by a number of university vice presidents and leaders, on the occasion of the university achieving a global milestone by ranking 35th globally and leading Saudi and Gulf universities in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.

The Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province affirmed that the distinguished presence of Saudi universities in global indicators and rankings reflects the great support that the wise leadership - may God support them - gives to the education sector, and their keenness to build a globally competitive educational and research system that contributes to preparing national competencies and enhancing the development march, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. His Highness congratulated King Faisal University and its staff on this global achievement.

Dr. Abu Zenada presented to the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province an overview of the most prominent performance indicators and the progress made by the university in the fields of sustainability, in addition to its efforts in enhancing the quality of education, scientific research, innovation, and community service, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 and enhancing the Kingdom's position in international indicators and rankings.
