His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province, reviewed the achievements of King Faisal University at his office in the Emirate Diwan today, during a meeting with the university's president, Professor Dr. Adel bin Mohammed Abu Zenada, accompanied by several university deputies and leaders, on the occasion of the university achieving a global milestone by ranking 35th worldwide and topping Saudi and Gulf universities in the THE Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026.

His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province affirmed that the distinguished presence of Saudi universities in global indicators and rankings reflects the extent of support provided by the wise leadership - may God support them - to the education sector, and their keenness to build a globally competitive educational and research system that contributes to preparing national competencies and enhancing the development march, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. His Highness congratulated King Faisal University and its affiliates on this global achievement.

Abu Zenada presented to His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province an overview of the key performance indicators and the progress the university has made in sustainability fields, along with its efforts to enhance the quality of education, scientific research, innovation, and community service, in accordance with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and to strengthen the Kingdom's position in international indicators and rankings.

Abu Zenada expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Deputy Governor of the Eastern Province for his support and attention, affirming that the university is proceeding with the implementation of its strategic plans aimed at enhancing its global competitiveness, raising the quality of its educational and research outputs, and contributing to sustainable development and serving the nation.
