Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan affirmed, during the Gulf Research Meeting, that recent developments in the region have demonstrated the rapid spread of tensions beyond the region and their direct impact on global security, energy markets, and economic growth, stressing that there is no alternative to diplomacy and that military force alone does not guarantee lasting stability.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan stressed that the goal should not be limited to containing tensions, but must extend to addressing their root causes, building trust, and establishing a stable regional order based on respect for sovereignty, non-interference, good neighborliness, freedom of navigation, and adherence to international law.

The Foreign Minister explained that violations of the principles of respect for sovereignty and non-interference must be met with accountability, noting that policies of aggression and hegemony only lead to insecurity and are inconsistent with the region's stability and prosperity.
