Abha, 09 Dhul Qa'dah 1447 AH, corresponding to April 26, 2026 AD, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Talal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Asir Region, His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Region, witnessed this evening the graduation ceremony of more than five thousand trainees from technical colleges and secondary industrial institutes in Asir Region for the training year 1447 AH, at King Khalid University Theater in Abha. His Highness and the attendees watched at the beginning of the ceremony an introductory film that reviewed the journey of technical and vocational training in the region, and the specialized training programs it offers that contribute to qualifying national cadres and aligning their outputs with labor market needs. After that, the Director General of the General Administration for Technical and Vocational Training in Asir Region, Dr. Ahmed bin Ayedh Al Marea, delivered a speech in which he thanked the wise leadership - may God support them - for the support and attention they give to the technical training sector, stressing that this support has contributed to the expansion of training institutions, and the provision of qualitative programs that enhance the readiness of national cadres and increase the efficiency of human capital in line with development goals. He congratulated the graduates, noting that the number of graduates this year, amounting to 5,264 graduates, reflects quality outputs that contribute to supporting the national economy, wishing them success in their careers and that they be an effective resource in various development sectors. Afterwards, an operetta titled "Skill of the Nation" was presented with the participation of folk bands in the region, reflecting the pride in national identity and the importance of work and mastery. At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness the Deputy Governor of Asir honored the top graduates and participating and sponsoring entities, in appreciation of their efforts and contributions to the success of the ceremony. // End //
