Riyadh, Safar 09, 1448 AH corresponding to July 23, 2026, SPA -- The first events of the National Falcon Center after the issuance of its new regulation, the "International Auction for Falcon Production Farms," will be launched during the period from August 5 to 25 at the center's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh. The auction comes at the beginning of a new phase for the National Falcon Center, following the Cabinet's approval of its new regulation, which enhances its role in developing the falcon system and supports its efforts in organizing and developing this sector, contributing to consolidating the Kingdom's position as a global center for falconry. This year's auction includes pavilions for local and international falcon farms, falcon supplies pavilions, and a "Future Falconer" pavilion, along with interactive displays and an auction platform that allows direct competitions on elite breeds of productive falcons, providing an integrated experience for visitors and participants. The auction represents an attractive destination for falconers from around the world, especially after the National Falcon Center earlier this year announced the allocation of all its competition categories to the (chick) class for falcons sold in the auction. It also provides an opportunity for falconers and visitors to get acquainted with the elite of locally and internationally produced falcons. It is noteworthy that last year 2025, the auction saw the participation of 1,103 falcons from 67 farms and 23 countries, with sales exceeding 13 million riyals, and it received more than 20,000 visitors. The National Falcon Center is organizing for this year 2026, alongside the international auction, a number of specialized events targeting all segments of society, including: the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition, which will be held from October 1 to 10; the Malwah Race from October 4 to 9; the National Falcon Center Auction from October 1 to November 30; the King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival from November 17 to 30; and the National Falcon Center Cup from December 21 to 28.
