The first events of the National Center for Falcons will kick off following the issuance of its new regulation, with the "International Auction for Falcon Breeding Farms," from August 5 to 25 at the center's headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
The regulation comes at the start of a new phase for the National Center for Falcons, following the Cabinet's approval of its new framework, which strengthens its role in developing the falcon system and supports efforts to regulate and grow the sector, contributing to solidifying the Kingdom's position as a global center for falconry.
It is noteworthy that the auction in 2025 saw the participation of 1,103 falcons from 67 farms and 23 countries, with sales exceeding 13 million riyals and attracting over 20,000 visitors.

This year's auction includes pavilions for local and international falcon farms, falconry supplies, and a 'Future Falconer' pavilion, along with interactive displays and an auction platform offering live competitions on elite producing falcon breeds, providing an integrated experience for visitors and participants.
The auction is an attractive destination for falconers from around the world, especially after the National Center for Falcons earlier this year announced dedicating all competition categories to the (chick) class for falcons sold at the auction. The auction also offers falconers and visitors a chance to see elite producing falcons locally and internationally.
This year, alongside the international auction, the National Center for Falcons is organizing a number of events targeting all segments, including the Saudi International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition from October 1 to 10, the Malwah Race from October 4 to 9, the National Center for Falcons Auction from October 1 to November 30, the King Abdulaziz Falcon Festival from November 17 to 30, and the National Center for Falcons Cup from December 21 to 28.
