The National Center for Environmental Compliance carried out more than 26,000 inspection visits during the first half of 2026, as part of its efforts to enhance compliance with environmental regulations. The center indicated that 70% of these visits targeted the most environmentally impactful activities, and the rate of women's participation in inspections during the Hajj season reached 10%. It also pointed out that the electronic inspection platform facilitated operations and enhanced integration with relevant authorities.

This intensification comes within the framework of the Kingdom's efforts to achieve environmental sustainability under Vision 2030, as the center works to monitor violations and ensure that facilities comply with environmental standards.
