Kingdom pumps 6 million liters of water into Yemen

The Kingdom, represented by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, continued implementing the water supply and environmental sanitation project in Al Khawkhah district of Al Hudaydah governorate, pumping about 6.5 million liters of water during June 2026.
1.3 million liters of safe drinking water
This included pumping 5.2 million liters of water suitable for domestic use in the governorate and 1.3 million liters of safe drinking water, as well as 565 transfers to remove waste from displacement camps.
The project also saw the drying of about 79.2 cubic meters of swamp and sewage water, maintenance of 16 toilets, and one water quality test, as part of the efforts to ensure the safety of the water provided.
More than 80,600 individuals benefited from the project's services, as part of the humanitarian and relief efforts carried out by the Kingdom, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, to support affected communities, alleviate the suffering of displaced persons, and enhance environmental sanitation services in Yemen.
