The National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation "Mae" has launched the electronic licensing and services platform, which enables providers of water efficiency and conservation services to issue, renew, and modify licenses electronically, in addition to providing efficiency and conservation services, as part of the center's efforts to enhance digital transformation and provide digital services that contribute to improving service quality and supporting water sustainability.

The center emphasized that the platform represents a unified digital window for regulating water efficiency and conservation services, thereby enhancing procedural efficiency, increasing service reliability, and contributing to the development of water efficiency and conservation service activities.

The platform provides leak detection services according to high standards.

The center added that the electronic platform grants 8 types of licenses to individuals, institutions, and companies in the urban, agricultural, and industrial sectors, and includes activities such as water auditing, leak detection and repair, measurement and verification of water savings, and design and implementation of water efficiency and conservation solutions.

It pointed out that the platform aims to regulate water efficiency and conservation activities, issue licenses, and provide leak detection services according to high standards, contributing to raising service quality and achieving water sustainability targets.

The center invited those wishing to engage in water efficiency and conservation service activities to apply through the electronic platform to obtain the necessary licenses, and also invited beneficiaries of leak detection services to verify that the service provider is from licensed and accredited entities through the platform, ensuring a reliable service in accordance with regulatory requirements.

The National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation confirmed that all activities subject to the licensing and services regulation are conducted through the platform, and that service providers are subject to supervision, monitoring, and evaluation procedures, including verification of the validity of studies, reports, and data, and field visits, to ensure compliance with approved controls and service quality.

It is noteworthy that the National Center for Water Efficiency and Conservation "Mae" announced on January 31 the entry into force of the licensing regulation for providers of water efficiency and conservation services, which regulates the issuance of licenses, obligations of service providers, and supervision and compliance procedures, thereby enhancing water use efficiency and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
