His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, Governor of Najran Region, praised the role of the Saudi Contractors Authority in organizing and developing the contracting sector and improving its efficiency, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance the sector's efficiency and improve the quality of project implementation in support of the development process.

This came during a meeting held by His Highness in his office today with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Contractors Authority, Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, and a number of members of the Authority's Board of Directors.

During the meeting, a brief presentation was given on the Authority's annual report for 2025, highlighting the main initiatives and achievements realized during the year, as well as the programs and projects the Authority is implementing to develop the regulatory environment for the contracting sector, empower national enterprises, and improve performance efficiency and quality.

The Authority delegation discussed the features of the contracting sector strategy and the ongoing developmental steps, which include enhancing contractor efficiency, stimulating innovation and modern technologies, raising compliance and quality levels, in addition to developing initiatives aimed at supporting small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the sector, empowering national cadres, and creating qualitative opportunities that contribute to sustainable growth.

The delegation also reviewed the current state of the contracting sector in Najran Region and the developmental momentum the region is witnessing.
