The National Center for Environmental Compliance explained that rehabilitation plans for degraded sites are built on scientific and technical foundations that take into account the nature of each site and its environmental characteristics, thus supporting the selection of the most appropriate rehabilitation measures for each case.

The Center clarified, via its official account on the X platform, that the preparation of these plans is based on three main axes: the nature of the site, the level of environmental impact, and the results of studies and environmental assessment, to ensure identifying the most suitable solutions and procedures for each site individually.

The Center stressed that the differences in site characteristics and levels of environmental impact necessitate designing customized rehabilitation plans for each case, contributing to the restoration of degraded sites and enhancing their environmental sustainability in the long term.
