Prince Mashari Park reopens as premier tourism destination in Al-Baha

PRINCE Mashari Park has become a premier tourism and nature destination in Al-Baha following a major redevelopment that added 15,000 square meters of green space.

The park's reopening is part of a broader effort by Al-Baha Municipality to improve public facilities and enhance quality of life for residents and visitors.

Located in Bani Hassan Governorate, the project, carried out by Al-Baha Municipality, is part of broader efforts to enhance public facilities and improve quality of life.

Covering 20,000 square meters, the park offers 15,000 square meters of green spaces, 2,600 meters of walking paths, a 1,300-square-meter children's play area, a football pitch, and vehicle parking.

The redevelopment also forms part of preparations for the Al-Baha Summer 2026 season, during which the park will host a variety of entertainment and cultural events for residents and visitors.

The summer program will feature traditional folk performances celebrating the region's cultural heritage, along with stalls run by local cottage industry families offering traditional dishes and locally made products.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy seating areas, modern amenities and landscaped walking paths designed to provide a comfortable setting while experiencing the park's natural surroundings.

The redevelopment prepares the park for the Al-Baha Summer 2026 season, which will host entertainment and cultural events. This aligns with Saudi Arabia's focus on boosting domestic tourism and developing recreational spaces. With its expanded amenities, Prince Mashari Park is poised to become a key attraction for families and tourists.
