Abu Dhabi, December 7 /WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, may God protect him, received today Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, the spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel. During the meeting, His Highness welcomed Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, who congratulated His Highness on the occasion of the 53rd Union Day of the United Arab Emirates, wishing the UAE and its people continued progress and prosperity under His Highness's wise leadership. For his part, the President thanked Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, wishing him good health and a successful visit to the UAE. The meeting touched upon the importance of promoting common human values and consolidating a culture of coexistence, civilizational dialogue, and peace among different cultures and peoples of the world. Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif praised His Highness the President's initiatives and benevolent efforts in support of peace and development, as well as His Highness's humanitarian approach that focuses on people and their development in various regions of the world.
