Al-Baha, Safar 04, 1448 AH corresponding to July 18, 2026, SPA – The Municipality of Al-Baha Region continues its efforts in developing infrastructure by highlighting the Al-Hawiyah Walkway, one of the humanization projects implemented during the Al-Baha Summer Season 2026, as a vital destination that aligns with quality of life targets and provides an integrated environment for walking and physical activities, as part of the municipality's efforts to develop public facilities and promote healthy lifestyles. The walkway includes a pedestrian path of 900 meters and a bicycle track of 500 meters, along with 35 seats and chairs and two play areas, creating a suitable environment for various age groups to engage in sports and recreational activities. The walkway also features decorative lighting, aesthetic illuminations, 100 barriers, and 150 trees and shrubs of jacaranda and acacia, enhancing the site's aesthetics and elevating the experience of visitors during the summer season. Within the activities of the Al-Baha Summer Season 2026, the Municipality of Al-Baha is implementing a package of community initiatives, sports programs, and awareness activities targeting various segments of society, contributing to spreading a culture of sports and enhancing public health through holding sports events, competitions, and interactive activities at the Al-Hawiyah Walkway. In terms of enhancing health awareness, the municipality, in partnership with the Al-Baha Health Cluster and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, is implementing initiatives to measure vital signs of walkway visitors along with providing health and awareness guidance, helping raise awareness about the importance of prevention and health maintenance, and strengthening integration among government agencies in serving the community. The Al-Hawiyah Walkway project is part of the efforts of the Municipality of Al-Baha Region to develop humanization projects, provide attractive urban facilities, improve quality of life, support domestic tourism, and enrich the experience of residents and visitors during the Al-Baha Summer Season. // End // 19:38 T M 0093
