The General Authority for Roads has obtained the international ISO certification in project management (ISO 21502:2020), as a result of its application of the best global practices in managing road network projects.

The 'Roads Authority' explained that this achievement reflects its commitment to applying local and international quality standards, which contributes to ensuring performance sustainability and achieving the satisfaction of road users outside urban areas, noting that obtaining the certification enhances its efforts in raising the efficiency of road project management, improving the quality of construction work, and supporting implementation according to the highest global standards and specifications, thereby consolidating its role as a supervisory and regulatory body for the road network in the Kingdom and supporting the achievement of the road sector program's goals centered on quality.
