Saudi Arabia introduces one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has rolled out a new multiple-entry Umrah visa, permitting pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times over a year and stay up to 90 days in total.

Valid for 365 days from the date of issuance, the visa enables pilgrims to make multiple visits throughout its validity period. The total permitted stay of 90 days is calculated cumulatively based on the number of days spent in the Kingdom during each visit.

The ministry clarified, however, that the multiple-entry Umrah visa cannot be used to enter Saudi Arabia during the Hajj season. In addition, the duration of the package must not exceed the remaining number of days available under the visa.

To obtain the visa, pilgrims must purchase a service package from one of the accredited service providers listed on the Nusuk platform for each visit.

Before each entry, pilgrims are also required to obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app, with the permit dates matching the approved service package, while meeting all applicable travel and entry requirements.

The ministry noted that the visa is automatically suspended upon each departure from the Kingdom and becomes active again for subsequent visits when all regulatory conditions are satisfied.

Any remaining eligible stay is automatically carried forward and may be used during future visits within the visa's validity period.

The flexible visa regime aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and boost religious tourism. The Nusuk platform streamlines visa and permit applications, ensuring compliance with pilgrimage regulations. Travelers should note the Hajj season exclusion and plan their visits accordingly.
