Bahraini researcher Dr. Maha Hameed Al-Dakhil and Saudi researcher Dr. Mohammed bin Mufleh published a peer-reviewed scientific paper in the scientific journal of the Department of Media and Communication at King Saud University, titled: 'The Impact of Integrating Artificial Intelligence into Media Curricula on Labor Market Requirements: A Field Study on Media Students in the Kingdom of Bahrain.'

The study aimed to measure the level of integration of artificial intelligence skills in media college curricula and the extent to which they contribute to preparing Bahraini and Saudi media students studying at public and private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain to meet the needs of the media labor market.

The researchers adopted the descriptive quantitative method using an electronic questionnaire applied to media students to measure the level of integration of AI applications in the curricula and their impact on students' professional readiness.

The results showed that the level of integration of AI skills in media curricula was high, reflecting universities' interest in keeping pace with technological developments in the media sector. The study also revealed that students have a high level of readiness for labor market requirements related to AI applications, particularly in the areas of media innovation, data analysis, and digital content production.

The study confirmed that integrating AI applications into academic programs contributes to the development of professional knowledge and skills, and enhances graduates' ability to keep pace with rapid transformations in digital media.

The researchers recommended continuing to update media college curricula and including specialized courses in AI applications, along with enhancing practical training and expanding partnerships with media institutions, in order to prepare qualified media personnel to meet future labor market needs.

The study received praise from the scientific committee and academic reviewers at King Saud University, who commended the research's rigor and methodological accuracy, affirming that its results represent a scientific addition that contributes to developing academic media programs and anticipating the future of preparing media competencies in the era of artificial intelligence.
