Saudi Vice FM holds high-level talks with European officials on regional security and bilateral ties

The third GCC-European Union High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation is taking place in Brussels, bringing together senior officials from Gulf and European nations.

On the sidelines of the third GCC-European Union High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation in Brussels, Saudi Arabia's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs held a series of meetings with European officials to enhance bilateral ties and discuss regional and global issues.

The series of diplomatic meetings was also attended by Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan.

Among those he met was Norway's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Andreas Kravik. Talks focused on bilateral cooperation and exchanged perspectives on key regional and international matters.

Elkhereiji and Radwan also met with Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya, where they discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual interest.

During Elkhereiji's meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual interest.

Meanwhile, Elkhereiji met with Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Papadopoulou, where the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in the interests of both countries. They also discussed the latest regional and international developments and the efforts being made to address them.

Elkhereiji also met with European Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation across a range of fields and review issues of mutual interest.

In addition, Elkhereiji met with European Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner, where the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and discussed issues of mutual interest.

These meetings highlight Saudi Arabia's ongoing diplomatic outreach to European and regional partners, emphasizing shared interests in security and stability. The discussions also underscore the importance of multilateral forums in addressing complex geopolitical challenges. Further engagements are likely on the sidelines of the forum, reflecting continued coordination between the GCC and the EU.
