BRUSSELS — The Vice Foreign Minister attended the third GCC-EU High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation, a meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union.

Representing Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji took part in the forum, which explored ways to strengthen security and strategic cooperation between the GCC and the EU.

The forum also reviewed ongoing efforts to promote international peace and security.

In attendance as well was Manal Radwan, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who also attended the forum.

With both blocs facing common threats, such forums aim to foster coordinated responses. The participation of senior Saudi officials highlights the Kingdom's active role in multilateral security discussions.
