Jeddah, Muharram 27, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 12, 2026, SPA – The Saudi Water Authority, represented by Future Generations affiliated with the Water Academy, today launched the Future Water 2026 Camp for Sustainability and Innovation, in four cities: Riyadh, Al Khobar, Jubail, and Medina, with the participation of 80 male and female students aged 10 to 15, in a training camp that runs until July 23. The camp is part of the Academy's efforts to invest in human capital from early ages, enrich youth knowledge about the water sector, and enhance their awareness of sustainability, innovation, and modern technologies, contributing to preparing a generation capable of understanding the sector's challenges and participating in shaping its future. The camp offers an interactive educational experience combining knowledge and application, through four training tracks: leadership track, scientific track, technical track, and artistic track; enabling participants to develop leadership, teamwork, innovative thinking, and project management skills, in addition to learning about applications of artificial intelligence, robotics, and modern technologies in the water sector. The program includes scientific and applied activities, practical challenges, field visits to several leading entities in the water system, as well as dialogue sessions with experts and specialists, giving participants a direct experience to learn about the sector's work and future fields. During the camp days, participants work on developing innovative projects inspired by water and sustainability challenges, to be presented at the end of the program before a specialized jury, aimed at enhancing their ability to turn ideas into scalable practical solutions. The camp's impact extends beyond the program's end, by granting participants attendance certificates, and allowing them to join a digital knowledge community that continues to support their learning and skill development, along with follow-up on distinguished projects, thus enhancing the educational sustainability of the camp. The Future Water 2026 Camp is one of the main programs of Future Generations, aiming to build a national system for developing children and adolescents' skills in water, sustainability, and innovation, and expanding its impact across various regions of the Kingdom, in line with the Saudi Water Authority's goals of developing national capabilities and preparing future competencies. // End // 14:10 T M 0061
