The Shura Council, chaired by Deputy Speaker Dr. Mishal bin Fahm Al-Sulami, during its 45th regular session of the second year of the ninth term held via videoconference, approved four memoranda of understanding and an international agreement covering the fields of mineral wealth, research, development and innovation, Arabic language service, and internal auditing. The session began with a review of the agenda and then decision-making. Among the approvals was a memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and its Kazakh counterpart to enhance cooperation in the mineral wealth sector and exchange expertise, and another between the Saudi Authority for Research, Development and Innovation and the Turkish Scientific and Technological Research Council to support scientific partnerships. The council also approved a memorandum of understanding between the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language and the Muslim World League for cooperation in promoting the Arabic language, and a headquarters agreement between the Kingdom’s government and the Institute of Internal Auditors to enhance institutional cooperation in internal auditing.

These approvals come within the framework of the Kingdom’s efforts to enhance international cooperation and strategic partnerships with countries and global organizations.
