The Shura Council held today its 45th regular session of the second year of the ninth term (via videoconference), chaired by Deputy Speaker Dr. Mishal bin Fahm al-Sulami.

At the outset of the session, the council reviewed the agenda of its 45th regular session and the items it contained, taking the necessary decisions thereon. The council voted to approve a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of mineral resources.

The council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Research, Development and Innovation Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in the field of research, development and innovation. Within the items on the agenda of this session, the council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League for cooperation in the field of serving the Arabic language. The council also approved a draft headquarters agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
