Shura Council Holds Its Forty-Fifth Regular Session of the Second Year of the Ninth Term

Today, the Shura Council held its forty-fifth regular session of the second year of the ninth term (via videoconference), chaired by His Excellency Vice President of the Council, Dr. Mishal bin Fahm al-Sulami.

At the beginning of the session, the Council reviewed the agenda of its forty-fifth regular session and the items therein, taking the necessary decisions regarding them.

The Council voted to approve a draft memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of mineral resources.

The Council also approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Research, Development and Innovation Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey in the field of research, development and innovation.

Among the topics on the agenda of this session, the Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the King Salman Global Academy for the Arabic Language in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Muslim World League for cooperation in the field of serving the Arabic language.

The Council also approved a draft headquarters agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Institute of Internal Auditors.
