His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Northern Borders Region, laid today the foundation stone for the project of the veterinary bacterial vaccine factory, in the presence of the Director General of the Branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in the Northern Borders Region, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Hetairshi.

His Highness listened to an explanation about the project, its components, implementation phases, and its role in developing the livestock sector and enhancing biosecurity, contributing to supporting and localizing the livestock vaccine industry and achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

His Highness the Governor of the Northern Borders Region noted the support and attention that the agricultural and livestock sectors receive from the wise leadership - may God support them - stressing the importance of qualitative projects that contribute to enhancing sustainability, developing investments, and supporting the food security system in the region.

The project is one of the specialized projects aimed at raising the efficiency of veterinary vaccine production, enhancing national capabilities in this field, and supporting services provided to livestock breeders.
