The Jeddah Municipality has started implementing development works at the intersections of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Road with King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Road and Al-Makarona Road, as part of an integrated project to implement traffic solutions aimed at improving vehicle flow efficiency and achieving greater smoothness on this main axis.

In a statement on platform X, the municipality explained that the project includes a package of engineering and traffic solutions, including: increasing the road's capacity, improving traffic flow, reducing congestion, as well as developing the urban landscape of the two intersections to enhance the quality of the urban environment.

The implemented works include installing traffic signals to organize traffic flow, improving the entry and exit connections between the main road and the service road, thereby enhancing traffic safety levels and reducing waiting time at bottleneck points.
