Urgent: New Restructuring in Education.. 3 Models for Regional Directorates to Ensure Fair Distribution
أطلقت وزارة التعليم نظاماً تنظيمياً جديداً يقسم إداراتها التعليمية إلى ثلاث فئات بناءً على معايير دقيقة، بما يضمن توزيعاً عادلاً للكوادر البشرية وفق حجم العمل الفعلي.
The Ministry of Education has adopted a new classification for education directorates in the Kingdom, dividing them into three different-sized organizational models, aiming to unify the mechanism for estimating human needs and achieve fair and accurate distribution of the workforce.
The ministry explained that the three models include directorates classified as 'large, medium, and small,' noting that this classification was based on three main criteria: number of students (40%), size of the workforce (30%), and number of schools (30%).

According to the approved plan, the first model (A) included large directorates in Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, the Eastern Province, Asir, and Jeddah; the second model (B) included medium directorates in Qassim, Jazan, Taif, Al-Ahsa, and Tabuk; while the third model (C) included small directorates in Najran, Al-Jawf, Al-Baha, the Northern Borders, and Hail.
Organizational Measure
The Ministry of Education confirmed that this organizational measure is part of a new plan for workforce planning in the sector. The ministry indicated that the adoption of the plan came after a comprehensive review of the results of workload analysis in all directorates, noting that the new organization will contribute to building a unified model that reduces disparity between similar directorates and ensures a more accurate distribution of employees according to the actual size of each directorate.
