3 Violators of Unlicensed Fishing Apprehended in Yanbu
The coastal patrols of the Border Guard in Yanbu Governorate, Medina Region, have apprehended three citizens violating the safety and security regulations for marine activities in the Kingdom's marine areas.
The patrols stated that the violators engaged in fishing without a permit and used prohibited tools. Legal procedures were applied against them in coordination with the relevant authorities.
They called for compliance with the regulations for the protection of aquatic resources and for reporting any violations by calling 911 in the regions of Mecca, Medina, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 994, 999, and 996 in other regions, emphasizing the confidentiality of reports and that the reporter bears no responsibility.
