Algeria expressed today its strong condemnation of the attack on a Saudi ship while sailing in the Red Sea, considering it a flagrant violation of the principles of international law regarding freedom of navigation in international waterways and a direct threat to security and stability in the entire region.

Algeria affirmed - according to what was published by the Algerian News Agency - its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia following this attack, and stressed the need for an immediate halt to these assaults, which would affect the safety of international trade and the flow of energy supplies, calling for de-escalation and avoiding any behavior that could increase tension in the Middle East region.
