Jordan Condemns Houthi Militia Attack on Saudi Vessel in Red Sea

Jordan condemned the attack launched by the Houthi militia targeting a Saudi vessel while crossing the Red Sea, considering it a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 1982, and a threat to the security and safety of maritime navigation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed in a statement today Jordan's rejection and denunciation of this assault, stressing Jordan's absolute solidarity with sisterly Saudi Arabia and its full support for all steps it takes to protect its security, stability, and capabilities.
