Three Arab countries condemned on Tuesday the attacks launched by Iran and the Houthis on Gulf states and Jordan.

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it strongly condemns 'the continued Iranian attacks on the Gulf states and Jordan.'

It added: 'We affirm our solidarity with the brotherly countries and our absolute rejection of any violation of states' sovereignty or threat to their security and stability, which contributes to escalating tension and undermining regional security.'

For its part, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement 'its strongest condemnation and denunciation of the sinful Iranian aggression that targeted the country this evening, resulting in injuries to a number of military personnel and causing material damage.'

It stressed that 'the continuation of the sinful Iranian aggression constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, a serious threat to the security and safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, and a blatant challenge to international legitimacy.'

It considered that the attacks represent 'a determination to continue a hostile approach and an irresponsible undermining of regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the region.'

It stressed 'the inherent right of the State of Kuwait to take whatever measures it deems appropriate to preserve its sovereignty, maintain its security and stability, in accordance with the provisions of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.'

Kuwait had earlier announced on Tuesday that it intercepted 6 missiles and 33 drones as part of what it described as 'Iranian aggression,' which resulted in injuries to 4 military personnel and material damage due to falling shrapnel in several locations inside the country.

For days, the United States has been launching attacks on Iran, claiming to respond to Tehran's targeting of commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Tehran responds by bombing what it says are American military installations in Gulf states and Jordan, while some of those countries have announced that the Iranian attacks resulted in civilian casualties and damage to civilian facilities.

In this context, the UAE Foreign Ministry condemned in a statement 'in the strongest terms the attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.'

It considered that these attacks constitute 'a flagrant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability,' affirming 'the UAE's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for everything that preserves its security and stability.'

The Houthi group had announced targeting Saudi Arabia's Abha Airport with ballistic missiles and drones, while the Saudi-led coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen reported on Monday that Saudi air defenses intercepted missiles launched by the 'terrorist Houthi militia' towards the southern region of the kingdom.

This came hours after the Yemeni Defense Ministry announced targeting the runway of Sanaa International Airport to prevent an Iranian plane from landing, while the Houthi group considered that this development means 'the end of the de-escalation' that had been in place in the country for years, vowing that the targeting 'will not pass without response or punishment.'
