Under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, a graduation ceremony was held for 578 orphans and widows from the programs of Binaa Association for Orphan Care, including bachelor's, diploma, high school, mother empowerment, and employment program 'Tadmeen'.

Dammam, Muharram 22, 1448 AH (July 07, 2026) – Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, a graduation ceremony was held today at the Emirate for 578 orphan and widow students benefiting from the programs of Binaa Association for Orphan Care in the region, including bachelor's, diploma, high school, the 'Mother Empowerment' program, and the 'Tadmeen' program for graduate training and employment. His Highness affirmed that the care and attention given to orphans by the wise leadership reflects the approach of this blessed country in empowering orphans, improving their quality of life, and building their future. He highlighted the importance of continued support for educational and training initiatives that build their capacities and enable them to complete their academic and professional careers, enhancing their contribution to national development and aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030. He congratulated the male and female graduates and wished them success in their future journey, hoping they would become effective contributors to serving their nation and society. Dr. Abdullah Al-Khaldi, CEO of Binaa Association for Orphan Care in the region, expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Governor of the Eastern Province for sponsoring the ceremony and for his continuous support of the association's work. He also thanked His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and board members for their support in empowering orphans and building their future. Dr. Al-Khaldi emphasized that graduating 578 of the association's children and beneficiaries is the fruit of years of support, care, and empowerment. He noted that the number includes 336 high school graduates, 139 university graduates, 54 mothers benefiting from the 'Empowerment of Orphans' Mothers' program (9th cohort) in partnership with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in addition to 20 beneficiaries who joined the labor market through the 'Tadmeen' program for graduate training and employment. Al-Khaldi explained that the university graduates are distributed into 84 diploma graduates and 53 bachelor's degree graduates, with 23 graduates achieving honors and academic excellence in fields such as technology, cybersecurity, engineering, applied technologies, health, and medical sciences, aligning with labor market needs. Additionally, the 9th cohort of mothers from the 'Empowerment of Orphans' Mothers' program graduated in partnership with Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, aiming to develop mothers' skills in social, educational, economic, and professional areas to support them in raising their children and monitoring their academic performance effectively. The program extends over 5 months, with each participant receiving 250 training hours. He affirmed that family empowerment is the cornerstone of empowering children, and that investment in human development is the most important and sustainable investment. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Governor of the Eastern Province congratulated the students who received educational scholarships in specialized fields funded by the association, and honored the success partners, supporters of educational and training programs, and academic institutions.
