The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology of Yemen, based in Aden, has requested all airlines, international organizations, and operators to obtain prior clearance from it before entering the airspace of the Republic of Yemen.

The authority stated in a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that it, as the legitimate civil aviation authority of the country, emphasizes the need to submit all clearance requests through its official approved means of communication.

The authority added that this measure aims to regulate air traffic and ensure compliance with approved procedures.

The authority called on all relevant parties to adhere to the statement's content to ensure the safety and regulation of Yemeni airspace.
